In 2021, I embarked on an exciting project with a small business specializing in handmade jewelry, offering stunning earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, each boasting unique designs. Collaborating closely with my friend, we captured great pictures of products, ensuring every intricate detail was showcased to perfection. Leveraging our creative talents, I took the initiative to establish an Etsy store and list each product with its matching prices. This endeavor not only showcased the craftsmanship of the jewelry but also provided a platform for the small business to reach a broader audience in the U.S.; These are some of the pictures of the handmade jewelry.

Through a digital marketing course at the University of Maryland, our team and I had the opportunity to work with a small business and as a consultant and help them with brand visibility, social media, and Google Ads. In this project we provided a marketing proposal that included branding kit, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, samples of social media posts, and a budget allocation plan for the upcoming quarter.
In this project, I focused on personalized movie recommendations for Rosie and Thomas as the central figures. Leveraging the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) model, I endeavored to curate tailored movie suggestions for them on the Netflix. By focusing on their correlation of preferences with other users, the KNN algorithm identified the most similar users to Rosie and Thomas, aiding in predicting their potential movie choices.
Employing a neighbor size of 3 and later 5, I meticulously compared the predicted movie selections with the actual viewing outcomes for both Rosie and Thomas. This meticulous evaluation allowed me to discern the efficacy of the KNN model in providing accurate recommendations. Through rigorous analysis, I determined the optimal model that best aligned with Rosie and Thomas's tastes.
